Welcome back to another episode of the Six Figure Flower Farming Podcast. And today I'm pulling back the curtain on the brand new version of my online business program that's coming this November 4th. And you've never seen it like this before. And because I've just been getting a ton of questions about it lately, because we're opening up registration on November 4th. So.
This is kind of a big deal, this new registration period for the course, because I have basically refreshed the entire thing. I've been teaching this for several years now and I've seen the landscape kind of change. I've been listening to flower farmers. I've seen what you've needed now, not what I was teaching five years ago. And I've completely refreshed everything to give even more specific
actionable tools to get my flower farmers results. So obviously the course wasn't bad before. We've never had a bad review. We always get five stars from everyone. And I have to tell you, it doesn't have to be that way. And that is what I teach inside of six figure flower farming inside of the course, you will discover.
A lot, but mainly your most profitable sales outlets. So I'm to teach you exactly how to figure out which ones are making you the most amount of money in your unique situation. You're going to learn how to manage your finances in a way that ensures you earn a healthy profit and actually get paid. Well, okay. You'll get clear on the flowers that you should grow and how much you should charge. And that's all based on your specific market.
So I'm going to give you the tools and the spreadsheets and the calculators and all the step-by-step information to figure out which flowers are earning you profit on your farm and which ones are not, because it's different for everyone, right? And all of our markets are different and all of our farms are different. And I'm giving you the tools and showing you exactly how to figure that out for yourself. You're also going to learn how to market and sell your flowers in an achievable and an effective way.
So this is not just like fluff, like, ⁓ you just post on Instagram and people will find you like, no, there's real strategies that we take you through and we walk you through that I personally have tested and tried on my farm. We also go over other ways that other flower farmers have found success with very specific strategies. So this is not fluff. It's like very real step-by-step things that we're going to teach you. So it's not just marketing. It's also sales because.
Even though they kind of get lumped into one category, they are different and there's different techniques that you need to use to get people to know about your business. And then also to get them to try you out and to buy flowers from you and become loyal customers. So we go over all of that. And lastly, you'll also learn how to run your farm in an efficient way that doesn't actually depend on you. And that may sound counterintuitive.
But if you have a farm that depends solely on you, that's a very risky business. So if you're the only one who knows how to harvest the flowers, who knows how to put the bouquets together, who knows how to email them, who knows how all the strategies behind marketing and selling. If something happened to you, your income would go away like that. I don't know if you could hear that, but I snapped. You could go away in an instant. And so you, you know, you could never take a vacation or take a weekend off.
And I'm going to teach you how to actually set up your farm operations to run and earn money without you. So you can take a weekend off. can go on vacation and your business will still earn money while you're away. So basically we're going to help set you up for serious success here. So the modules include all that stuff I just talked about. It's basically your profit plan, discovering your moneymakers, efficient farm operations, spreading the word about your farm or marketing.
And sales, and these are the core pillars that you have to get under control in order to have a profitable and sustainable flower farm. Because obviously we all want to have a profitable farm. need that financial security, right? But we also need that without driving ourselves into the ground without working 80 hour weeks, every single week of the growing season. Like.
We have to do this in a way that gives us a life outside of our businesses as well as providing financial security for us. So, and I always get this question and people always ask it. So let me just clear this up right now before I get further into this episode. My flower farm earns multiple six figures a year by selling flowers, not by selling this course that I'm talking to you about right now. I started teaching people about
how to do what I did after my business was really successful and was able to basically be run without me on a day-to-day basis. Now I say that my business definitely still needs me in a lot of ways, but I earned this money by working really freaking hard and doing a lot of trial and error and testing out a bunch of different things. And everything that I've learned along the way, have packaged up for you neatly lesson by lesson.
And step-by-step little fact sheets that I literally hand over to you so you can find success way faster in the time that it took me. And this is proven. I've seen it over and over and over with a ton of my students. And so this is why I'm so excited about why I do what I do because it's fun. It gets results for students and I love seeing other people succeed, but I just wanted to clear the air here that like.
When I say that I grew a multiple six figure flower farm, that was from selling freaking flowers and Dalia tubers. And I had people come to my farm to do on-farm workshops, like make your own bouquet and pick your own flowers. Like all of that kind of stuff. None of that money was from selling another flower farmer, anything. Well, except for Dalia tubers, because I do, I do sell Dalia tubers as well, but just wanted to make that crystal clear for you. Now let me go over what's.
new and what's changed in the course in case it might help you in some way. So there are some new modules in the course. So existing modules have been updated on finances, finding your most profitable flowers through crop costing plus systems, strategy marketing and sales. Like there's been a lot of stuff that's been updated and I've added new resources, but I've also added in brand new content that I've never talked about or taught before this year.

So it's now professionally videoed or recorded, I guess I should say, I don't know what the right term is for that, it's.
been professionally filmed. I'll say that. So everything is polished, clean, clear. It's not just you staring at like a slide show or anything like that. Like I do use some slides in there, but it's really me talking to you and showing you examples and taking you through the process in a very clear, professional and polished way. This new version is really, it's just more highly engaging than what we had in the past, which
I think was engaging, but we've just improved it now and made it better. I've also added a ton and I mean a ton of new resources. There was already, um, I don't even know how many we had before there was. Probably, I don't know, 75 or a hundred resources and like PDF files, swipe files, spreadsheets, all that kind of stuff. But now there are well over a hundred of them. This includes.
PDF guides, swipe files. like newsletters that you can literally take the I've written have gotten us really good results and use them as is. If you want to, I'd rather you didn't do that. I'd rather you use it as inspiration to create your own, but I give that to you. give you spreadsheets where all you have to do is input your numbers and it does the math for you. So it does all this done for you calculations. mean, just the spreadsheets alone are like.
Just an incredible resource. I wish somebody had given these to me when I first started my flower farming journey. So this includes crop costing spreadsheets where you literally just plug in your numbers and it just will spit out for you, like your most and your least profitable crop. So all you have to do is gather the data from your farm, which is like the easiest part. Well, maybe the hardest part to get into that habit, but I teach you how to do that in the course. One of the biggest frustrations I've seen far farmers have was trying to calculate things like.
profitability for per crop or like spending hours in Excel trying to figure all these things out. So now I've included these done for you spreadsheets that literally make it a breeze. You're not even doing the math. You're just putting your own data in. So I give you all the templates, all the step-by-step instructions on how to collect that data with ease. And just, I try to give you every single thing that you need. You also have access to a lot of my data and a lot of examples.
So you can see if you're like kind of on track or not with what you're doing on your farm compared to other people's farms. And I always have to put that caveat in that like every farm is different. Everybody's going to do things differently, but I find it helpful to just kind of see what other people do. I also have a pricing and break even calculators. So again, you just kind of plug and play with these. ⁓ there's just a ton of templates and guides and even more swipe files. So lots of stuff that.
you've seen from our own marketing efforts that you can take inspiration from. Now, another huge frustration for flower farmers is that you just, as a business owner, you're so busy. You don't have the time to create things from scratch. You don't. And I know that. And this program really eliminates a lot of that problem for you because you don't have to create anything from scratch. I've basically done it all for you.
So you can just plug and play and use a lot of my own materials. I have created specifically for you. Like you don't have to come up with ideas for your newsletter or try to figure out a marketing strategy that works
Or how to figure out how to write an SOP. Like it's, it's done for you. You just, it's all handed to you basically.

But another flower farmer is really going to understand the severity of that situation and they'll be able to help you through it. And sometimes just having other people that like really get it and be validating to your struggles can be more helpful than anything else. Right. Plus there are weekly live question and answer sessions. So can get coached on your specific situations, anything that you get stuck on. We will help you get unstuck. So.
Lots of support and guidance. And finally, there are a lot of lasts with this cohort coming up in November. Useful for you. Okay. So as you go through the course, one of the things that I love talking about is walking students through their marketing funnel or basically your customer journey. And that's kind of starting with how strangers find out about your flower farm business and then moves into how you engage them, how you welcome them into your world, how you get to know them and form relationships with them. Then how you encourage them to become customers.
Then get them to be a customer and then get them to come back and buy again and again and again. And then even how to get them to tell all their friends about you. So their friends and acquaintances and other people they don't even know become customers of you and they do marketing for you. So this is basically called a marketing funnel. And I walk you through every step of it and give you strategies to use every step of the way through the funnel. So you can build that super loyal.
customer base that you need for your business to succeed. And so like I said, all this is broken down in the course in a lot of detail and I give you marketing ideas and materials. need to make it happen. But one thing that we have found a ton of success with that I want to share now is attraction offers. And this is exactly what it sounds like. You're making an offer to attract people to your business because you need to grab people's attention to get them to be a customer of yours.
So the main thing that we use for an attraction offer is a giveaway. And there are definitely some rules around this, depending on your state or your platform or wherever you're doing it through, but we do a bouquet giveaway. We advertise, if you sign up for our email list, you'll be entered to win a free bouquet. And then periodically we just choose a random person from our email list and shoot them an email and say, you won a free bouquet. Yay.
Cost us almost nothing. We generally have some extra flowers around that we can scrounge together to give away. Super simple. And people are really excited about it and they love it. And who doesn't want to win a free bouquet? So once we advertise that people sign up to get the free bouquet. And as soon as they're on our email list, We send them a.
few different emails, just introducing ourselves, letting them get to know a little bit about us so they can hear what we do, how we can help them, what kind of services we offer, how they can get flowers, all that kind of stuff. And that email sequence, hopefully most of the time,
Will lead to our offer of our CSA or subscription program. And so we use the strategy to get people from being strangers basically to getting them on our email list, letting them get to know us, and then making them an offer that they can't resist to sign up for our CSA or subscription program. And I use CSA and subscription program interchangeably here. So that's why I'm saying both of them. I have tried and I've tested a lot of strategies.
And now I just give them to you inside of this program. Tried a lot of things over the years and I can tell you exactly what to avoid and what to do. And I can tell you what to do step by step. So that's just like a taste of what's inside of the new course.
